Nine Freeport Select Chorale Members Named to NYSSMA All-State Chorus

Nine Freeport High School Select Chorale members were selected to participate in the 2013 NYSSMA All-State Chorus thanks to the perfect scores they received at their adjudication in May 2013 under the guidance of director Monique Campbell Retzlaff. The nine students are: Brooke Baker, Catherine Castillo, Alana Ezeji, Isaiah Harris, Adia Matthew, Celine Orosco,Danny Pineyro, Kristopher Saint-Louis and Kayla Sigmone. They were selected from among thousands of students from New York State who auditioned for this honor and will represent Freeport in Rochester, N.Y., from Dec. 5-8 at the 78th annual NYSSMA Winter Conference.
